The weekly polls are out from Minnesota Basketball News and Let’s Play Hockey and there are few changes among Northland teams.
Hermantown is still third in the Class A boys hockey poll, four notches ahead of Virginia-Mountain Iron-Buhl. Duluth East moved up one spot to 11th in the Class AA poll.
Eveleth-Gilbert Area placed 12th in the final Class A girls hockey poll.
The Grand Rapids boys, at fifth in Class A, and the Class A second-ranked Barnum girls are the highest-ranked Northland teams in Minnesota.
The Superior and Northwestern boys are both ninth in the Associated Press Wisconsin rankings.
